Nice place to relax and explore
Millenium Park was a nice walk from downtown chicago and it was lots of fun. Initially, I was there to see the Bean but didn't realize how much you do can do out there and all the many landmarks that nobody really appreciates. Fun spot to visit and a great way to stretch you legs. I didn't see alot of parking so keep that in mind if you choose to visit.

Blues Festival at the Millennium Park in June 2023
I visited the Millennium Park whilst on a solo trip to Chicago. On the day I went it was excellent sunny weather and there was a Blues Festival taking place. Entry into the park was free and the queue to get in was quick and just for security and bag checks. The blues festival was really good and the park is well maintained. Obviously, I had to take a selfie by the bean sculpture too. Worth a visit for sure.

    Millennium by night
This is our third visit but the first time at night. One notable difference is the security checks before entering the park. Still lots of people at the Bean but much less than during the day. The Crown Fountain area was virtually empty. These along with Pritzker pavillion look great lit up at night, especially the Bean as it reflects the surrounding buildings. This is probably general Chicago advice but make sure you fully understand SpotHero directions to parking as getting in the wrong one can be a headache.

A magnificent venue on the Magnificent Mile.
I attended two great concerts (free) amongst our multiple visits to Millennium Park and the larger Grant Park in which Millennium Park of located. Millennium Park has "The Bean" which is a "must see" for visitors to the truly lovely city that is Chicago. Café is good. Apparently in the winter the area in front of the café becomes an ice rink.

    Wow....It's fun
Just go it's a fab park and wait til you see the fountain projecting the faces of people from Chicago on it's two massive tower blocks separated by a reflecting pool. Also the huge reflective "bean" aka cloud gate. The park is beautiful and home to the massive outdoor amphitheatre designed by Frank Gehry.

Early morning break from the hustle and bustle of the city.
The center piece of this park is “the bean”, however it is a nice spot to sit and rest. The park is well laid out with seating and shade. We went early in the day (around 8 am) and were able to take photos of the bean while not fighting crowds to get a photo. If I had known how quiet it is at that time we would have grabbed breakfast to go and eaten in the park. Take your time to walk the area there are several areas of the park near by that have art installations and fountains.

A great treasure in the midst of a big city.
Always a good spot to visit. The bean needed a cleaning, big time. They were setting up for Nascar street race, so a little busy in that area, but a nice respite. Enjoyed walking through the park each morning when it was not busy.

    Home of “The Bean”
Millennium park was so much fun to walk around, the water feature was really cool and refreshing. It’s also the home of “ The Bean”. The “rock garden” that hang from the tree tops was also very beautiful. Very much a must see stop and spend a hour or so waking around and enjoying.

    The Bean
We specifically visited this park for The Bean. It was crowded on a Saturday afternoon so just be prepared for other people to be in your photos. The surface of the bean isn’t clean as you will see in my photos. There are restrooms here and a souvenir/snack shop. It’s a must visit iconic tourist stop for sure though.

    Art district
Park in the art district and very full. Lots of things to see. The sculpture is very cute and visited by so many. I enjoyed the stroll and taking pictures of all the architectural sculptures and buildings. The have an area for concerts which seems nice even saw a yoga class on the lawn.

The park is very nice, clean and organized and have that famous bean in it. It also has a big place for concerts. I went during a hot day in May but I think it even looks nicer in evenings

Well, you know "The Bean" and it's here in Millennium Park. A first-time visit to Chicago isn't complete without a stop at Millennium Park. Chicago is all about the loop. Park is getting used to tons of things.

showcase cutting-edge art, architecture, and landscaping; it also acts as a backdrop for concerts and festivals. Most visitors come to Millennium Park to see the Crown Fountain and Cloud Gate, better known as "The Bean.

I would suggest the below attractions
Cloud Gate (bean)
Jay Pritzker Pavilion
Crown Fountain
Millennium Monument
BP Pedestrian Bridge

There are plenty of other reasons to visit Millennium Park: see a concert at the Jay Pritzker Pavilion, stroll through the Lurie Garden, or the Boeing Galleries. You can also walk across the 925-foot-long, stainless steel, Gehry-designed BP Pedestrian Bridge, which connects Millennium Park to Maggie Daley Park.

On a gorgeous spring, summer, or fall day, grab a blanket and picnic basket to enjoy on the park's grounds.
yup, we have (I mean in New York), Central Park, Bryant Park, and 100s of parks - but I can’t recall any park where I can see all these attractions within 5 five-minute walk in the same park. you feel me, right?

I accept renovations need to be done occasionally but the Chicago authorities have really messed up with this one
Why on earth have they covered the site fencing with opaque black netting!!??
Surely leaving it see-through would be more appropriate for the thousands of visitors bringing money into your city
BAD ARRANGEMENTS CHICAGO!!!

It is crowded and a tourist thing, but that just makes it even more fun! Pick a spot get those cool reflecting photos, then move aside for someone else to get a spot. It is easily a 10min photo op but nothing much else.

Took a walk down the Magnificent Mile and ended up at Millennium Park. I wanted to see the "Bean" but it and the immediate area around it was under construction. Not one to let something get in my way I did manage to get a good look at it and snap a decent photo. The rest of the park is a nice relaxed part of the city with many things to appreciate. We took a nice break at the Millennium Monument at one of the plentiful benches.

The highlight though was the ice rink. Really nice spot for a free skate and it wasn't busy during the week. One just has to book a time online first. They have skate rentals there too. Decent skates for beginners with a molded boot but I encourage skaters to bring their own.

The rink also provided a different perspective of the Bean as well.

Fenced off for construction. No real spot to take a picture with the bean. Disappointed but things have to be done sometime.

Millennium Park is a beautiful green space in downtown Chicago most known as the location of "The Bean" or more correctly named Cloud Gate. However, there is much more to the park including the Crown Fountain, Millennium Monument, the Lurie Botanical Garden and the Jay Pritzker Pavillion which is an amphitheater offering open air concerts throughout the summer months, many of them free to the public. It is also just a great place to wander, sit on a bench, people watch or view the stunning Chicago skyline. However, the park is also very busy with visitors as it seems that everyone who visits Chicago has to see The Bean. Visit early in the day to avoid the crowds. The park opens at 6am if you really want to get a special photo.
