This is the highlight of the park: You can see it from the water taxi, and our daughter enjoyed playing in the mist (the wind carried quite a bit of water to one of the plazas that surrounds it, it was fun.

We visited both during the day and at night because it is beautiful during the day but spectacular at night with the lights on and a water show every hour for 20 minutes. The Chicago skyline is a stunning background and this memorial to Clarence Buckingham from his sister is a priceless Chicago landmark. Must see.

The fountain has a water show every hour on the hour that last 20 minutes. After dusk it's a water show with lights and music. Very romantic!

Magnificent design beside Lake Michigan with the amazing Chicago skyline overlaid in the background. Very close to the down town. You need a few minutes of walk to be there.

We stopped here while on a tour bus. It is absolutely gorgeous and a must see for anyone visiting Chicago. The tour bus is a good idea because you get lots of information that you would otherwise not know.

We were only in Chicago for a weekend but the first time we went to see this fountain it was not switched on, but the second time it was and we took some lovely photos.

It is a massive fountain in the park right along the lake. It's beautiful and the mist in a hot day hits the spot. I heard at night they light it up and the colors change; we were there during the day and didn't see that. It's great people watching and to enjoy nice weather outdoors. It's free, so definitely... Definitely stop in at night as the light and music show is worth seeing, but the fountain is beautiful during the day also. Close to town and next to the shoreline so a great place to walk. Enjoy
