Blues at its Best!

Had plans for a night at Kingston Mines, but some friends talked us into Rosas Lounge instead. I really liked the atmosphere here. Band was jammin' and so was I :)

Rosa's Has the best blues in Chicago! Is just about 10 minutes from Chicago downtown. If you want to experience great Chicago blues come to Rosa's. Good drinks... not to expensive Great service...the bartenders are great. No food! Come to listen and enjoy great blues and drinks. Make sure you tip the musicians and the service staff because they will... More

Having played there I'm not an impartial critic. I've been going there for years when I'm in the Chicago area and it's always like a good visit with close friends.

Had never been to any of the Blues clubs in Chicago. Did a little research and decided on Rosa's. The atmosphere was perfect for a juke joint while nicer than those down south (bathrooms were clean). The service was friendly and the price was right. Kinsey Report was playing and rocked it! A must for the music aficionado.

I gottta say this is my favorite blues club in all of Chicago; ok disclaimer - this is the only blues bar I've visited in Chicago so far, but if they are all this fantastic I'm in for a great time. I can't remember the name of the three-piece band we saw but they had a harmonica player that was... More

Good music, neighborhood feel, bartender makes you feel like you're in your living room. Don't expect a fancy beer or liquor selection.

On our way from Tennessee to Wisconsin my wife and I overnighted at an O'hare hotel and Ubered back to Rosa's ($20 each way) which we enjoyed 20 years ago when we lived in the NW suburbs. We paid online for tickets for $5 above a $10 cover which allowed us to arrive early (between 8-9 for a 10 PM)... More

A Chicago classic for blues. Gritty, small... just what you'd expect for a great night of blues in Chicago.

Hadn't been here in about 8 years, what a great night. Great venue, better then I remembered and great band. 8 piece band that really knew how to play to crowd. My favorite blues bar in Chicago!
