My group of 6 had a wonderful time on the Loop Tastebud Tour. We were met at Pizano's Pizza by our tour guide, John, and also by Lynn, the owner of the company. John was an excellent guide, and we got to see a lot...More
Our family was very impressed with the tour. By the end of it we could hardly eat any more we were so full. We actually skipped dinner that night because we were still so full. The guide (who was also the founder) was very friendly...More

We have experienced three Tastebud Tours. My personal favorite is probably the 1893 World's Fair Tour, because it's guided by Bertha Palmer, a lady of the times. The guide is totally into character, and the history accompanying the tour is fascinating. Unfortunately, that tour is only offered during warmer weather. The Old Town Tour introduced us to the poutine, and there is LOTS of good food plus several shopping stops along the way. Again, much history is imparted by the tour guide. Our first tour was Taste Chicago. That would be my recommendation for this time of year. If you are planning your visit in the warmer months, the 1893 World's Fair Tour is a good one.
