It was too hot for a stroll through this wonderful neighborhood. Although we did see some people jogging in the intense heat, WOW! In any case, I advise you go early in the morning or late afternoon as the temps in the summer will melt...More

Nice higher end neighborhood. Passed by President Obama house, seen it from side, not much visible, street is block from one side. Passed by Ali house and former Elija Muhammad house, very close to each other
Loved the homes in this and the connecting neighborhood. Will not mention the names of the homes that I seen; out of respect for the owners. Could not get to close to some areas due to Secret Service....and that was fine too.
Hyde Park is a diverse place with many landmarks. The University of Chicago, The Robe House, Washington Park, and Obama's home. Our walk on guide toured us through this area of the city. Definitely built up with the University of Chicago.
Often visitors' first stop in Chicago, The Loop is a good starting point to sample the city's energy and flavor. This central business district boasts Michelin-rated restaurants, upscale hotels, premier shopping, and enough arresting architecture to keep your camera busy for hours. You won’t find too many photo galleries of downtown Chicago without a shot of Millennium Park and Cloud Gate (“The Bean”), one of
the most iconic landmarks in the city. A stunning skyline coupled with cultural attractions like the Art Institute of Chicago present a Downtown where work and play peacefully coexist.
