The modern-day Chicago landmark! Simple, huge, and a place where people just have fun. There isn't any corner of the Cloud Gate that there's no one taking photos and making goofy poses and what-have-you. Brings out the fun side in mostly anyone who visits!

A truly mesmerising and Amazing object. You might see it on TV but that's nowhere near enough. You need to walk underneath and around it to appreciate it properly. If aliens landed they'd probably think it had been left behind by a previous visitor. Compelling.

How is this object made? How good are the reflections? How well executed are the curves (does it have distortions)? All reasonable engineering questions. Then I arrived. And I didn't care about engineering and math. It's awesome.

It's always crowded on nice days and it's hard to get the dream picture of you alone with the bean. I would still say you must see this famous landmark when you vist Chicago and it's nice to see how the skyscrapers reflect into the bean.

Known better as "The Bean", there is always a crowd here, but everyone is there for the same reason - selfies or pics of the bean, and people politely take turns helping take photos and sharing the spaces. It is definitely more fun for the kids to make faces into, but we adults enjoyed the unique reflections of ourselves and... More

It was really foggy when we visited but it was neat. We were just walking in the parks and saw it. It wasn't too busy and it was a cool attraction. The parks around are very nice.

Before coming to Chicago I planned on stopping by here just because I had to on the obligatory sightseeing stop. But I was actually really pleased with this. If you're a photographer, you can have a lot of fun with this giant bean-shaped mirror. If you're not, you will be thrilled by the size and the fun of what is... More

Well, the could gate. It's photo graces pretty much every marketing material you'll see about Chicago. What is it, exactly? Conveniently located in the heart of Millenium Park, it's a bean-shaped giant highly polished metal sculpture, in which you will see the sky, lake, skyline and yourself reflected very nicely. Makes for a great photo op, and hundreds of visitors... More
