We were walking the "Mile" and because we there in December, the decorations were lovely. The store windows were a "must see".

This is a great park. Loved the walk and ice rink was beautiful. A must picture stop. Also a place to break from all the traffic if your walking.

This is a Christmas must-do when the area is lit up and decorated for holiday. The rest of the year its a concrete tunnel. There are many super-upscale stores Neimen-Marcus etc. It is fun to go in and see all the way way overpriced stuff. Also so are many excellent restaurants. The old watertower and the 4th( I think) Presbyterian... More

A mile of building and shops to visit. You will surely find something of your interest. We passed by Michael Jordan resto (just looked at the menu which is quite expensive). Dylan's Candy Bar is our fave. A place to stop by if you have kids in tow.

Fantastic shopping. You will get your walking in. We had a great time and got to go into many shops that we don't have in Southeast Ohio.

Very long street to explore buildings, shops, bars and restaurants. I liked it and enjoyed the people watching as you walk.

Neighbourhood Profile
Magnificent Mile
Over 400 stores pack the concrete along Michigan Avenue, the eight-block stretch known as Magnificent Mile. This area between Oak Avenue and the Chicago River is more a shopping paradise than a full-out neighborhood. For prime upscale shopping, this is the place to go. It’s busy, energetic, and packed with shoppers. You'll also find hundreds of restaurants and dozens of hotels, all on the mid- to high-end scale. Some of the city’s most iconic buildings like the Wrigley Building, John Hancock Center and other architectural marvels define the magnificence of this neighborhood.
