The Skydeck offers great views of Chicago and is a perfect way of orientating yourself. The ledge (glass box that you stand in) isn't so scary and in fact single ply toilet paper is more intimidating. Youngsters will get a great thrill out of seeing the streets hundreds of feet below.

I haven't been here and years and decided to go and it took about 2 hours to get through the process but it was worth it. It was a beautiful Chicago winter day but once you get through the long lines I think it is worth the effort. You can't get views much better than this (especially on a clear... More

And, they were very nice to us . . . we only really wanted a cup of tea, and nobody looked at us like we were "strange." The service was nice, and the view is OMG ! ! ! ! There can be a long wait for the elevator ride to / from the 95th floor, so allow yourself some... More

This is a potentially lovely place. The traffic control is FAIR. It's NOT on Wacker, it's around the corner on Jackson. Great views, excessive selling and wakiting

Found it quite expensive just to have a nice view of the city... plus if is busy you don't have much time to take your own pictures...

We reach about 3PM, it took around 40 minutes to queue and take the elevator to the top. I guess is because of long weekend and there were crowds. The wait is worth, when we reach the top, what we see is really beautiful~ My bucket list in chicago checked!

We visited on Saturday night about 6:30 pm. We had City Passes so skipped the lines for tickets, which was great but it was such a madhouse on the observation floor, we never made it to the glass boxes. They did a good job managing the lines for tickets and managing people on and off the elevators with plenty of... More

We went on a Sunday. My theory with top attractions like this, it is important to get there at least 30 min prior to opening to avoid, long lines and waits. This can be one of those places. We arrived at 930, doors opened at 10, we were to the elevator to go up by 1030. That includes taking their... More

If you want to experience something really cool, this is it. Skydeck is an amazing view and venue. The secret is to push through the line. Obviously getting there early is the best way to avoid it, but even if you go at any time, just wait and you will be pleasantly surprised by the view. The city if gorgeous... More

I enjoyed the view, the glass box was very cool too. The only problem was it is expensive. Make sure to get there early or you will be waiting for a while.
