Its a cave on the bank of the Ohio River. A single large passage, not very interesting or exciting. Kids my find it mildly entertaining. A geologist will find the rock formations interesting.

Peaceful and historic setting.Scenic river views.Nearby ferry across the Ohio River between Ky. and Il..The cabins are duplex and are neat and clean. The restaurant was closed for the season but 2 small diners near by.We saw 5 deer and a possum from our cabin deck.

My dad like to ride the ferry, so we cross and come back, it goes from Illinois to Kentucky, across the Ohio River. The park grounds are nice, good place for a picnic, and an old fashion Merry Go Round to spin the grand kids...More

The cave was really cool (in more than one way). Easy to get to and not too treacherous in the cave. You can go all the way back, which seems to be about 100 feet. There is light at the end of the tunnel from...More

Remember coming here as a child with my grandparents. Great state park and cool path down to a decently deep cave with many formations that kids (and adults) can climb. Can get in and out in 5-10 minutes, but still pretty cool for what it's...More

It was pretty cool for a little break off the motorcycle. It's all free. It's a cool off kind of back road, take a break thing. It's worth a look and it's free so you can't help get your money's worth.

This cave is VERY cool and different. What is so so disappointing is the graffiti. I do not understand why destroying a piece of NATURE is amusing or fun. Thankfully it's still very neat to see. But take the advice - “Take only memories, leave...More

I had not been to this cave since I was much younger. This park is very clean, well maintained and plenty of campsites. The walkways to the cave were sturdy and easy to maneuver. Great place to view the Ohio River. Very peaceful.
