The state park was so much fun. Hiking into the cave at the bottom of the river was really cool. The weather wasn't great while we were there so we didn't get to explore as much as we would have liked.

We drove down from our cabin near Garden of the Gods to explore this new-to-us state park. The town of Cave in Rock is very quaint, and we also enjoyed driving along some of the unique looking houses right on the river. This state park...More

The Lodge at Cave in Rock State Park is a great to take a break. View of the river is outstanding watching the river traffic and the birding watching.

This is a small, but nice park with a campground. It is interesting to walk down the stairs and into the cave that overlooks the Ohio River. Very neat.

Beautiful place to visit. A lot of room to walk around the caves and riverside without a lot of restrictions on where you can and can't go. We stayed at the campground which was pretty nice for a cost of only $10 a night.

I arrived early in the morning and had the cave all to myself. It is huge and the views from inside looking out to the river are beautiful. It is a wonderful place to stop and have a picnic along the Ohio River.

Visited Cave-In-Rock State Park last March and had a great time. The scenery was beautiful and it was interesting to learn about the history of the cave. We will probably be back if we are in the area.

This park is pretty far out of the way from anything else, but you could combine a trip out to Cave-in-Rock with a trip to Golconda or ETown, or you could take a trip across the ferry. The cave is pretty cool and the views...More

In 1977 the entrance appeared different due to the copious amount of mushrooms consumed by visitors to the park.
