This is a really cool cave. It was fun and quick to explore. You need old, non-slippery shoes, though, because the floor of the cave is very slick.

State park along the banks of the Ohio River. The attraction is the cave, of course. It is down a stairway, so definitely is not handicapped accessible. It is a surprisingly large cave, almost a little amphitheater in the back of the cave. It has...More

Stopped and drove through and walked a bit of it while out on a Sunday drive. It's a decent sized park that has a playground, restaurant, and much more. The Cave-in-Rock Ferry is also another attraction available here if you have the time.

A historic area with a great view of the river. Great spot to view the ferry crossing to/from Kentucky and the barges traveling the river.

Take a flash light and head into the cave, but watch your step! Walk all the way back, and off to a small side room, exploring and searching for names from the 19th century. ignore the modern ones. Once out, walk the trails or have...More

In 1977 the entrance appeared different due to the copious amount of mushrooms consumed by visitors to the park.
