This is first time I have been to a zoo with my kiddo. The zoo is great and there are so many animals to look for, but since we went during afternoon most of the animals were resting under a shade due to warm weather. I was highly disappointed with the Dolphin show, it feels that we literally wasted about... More

Wonderful outdoor exhibits. Beautifully landscaped park like setting. Great children's zoo. Be ready for a day of walking. Everything is spread out. Bring a wagon for the little ones to ride in if they get tired. Get there early especially on days when the weather is perfect.

I had a great time overall, food options could be better but the exhibits are amazing except maybe the pachyderm house which could use something to tie it all together. I love how you get to go up close with the animals on multiple occasions and the kid areas were very nice. It is one of the largest zoos I... More

This zoo goes above and beyond. We have four adults and a two year old. This zoo had something for everyone. Live music and beer and grandpa, animal interactions and playground for the toddler, and shopping for mom. I loved that this zoo had such open and elaborate exhibits. Walking though the monkey areas was absolutely a work of art... More

I have a daughter who loves penguins, so when I saw a blurb on the news yesterday about Brookfield Zoo's World Penguin Day celebration, I knew we had to go. We spent most of our time in the Living Coast area. We enjoyed seeing the penguins, watching them being fed, and learning more about them. It was a great day!... More

One of the best places to visit while in the Chicagoland area. The zoo has good accessibility access. ADA accessible, wide waling areas, clean interior buildings. Food available. Plenty of parking. Display areas are well marked. Information booths provided. Guest Service available for most needs. A must stop for sure.

This is one of the most beautiful zoos we be been to. We sent the teenagers off to roam on their own, and kept the littles (twin 7-year-olds and a 15 month old) nearby. Definitely get a map at the entrance, and be sure to visit the penguins. Do, however, watch out for the geese if you choose to eat... More

My husband and I went for a stroll since it was a beautiful day here in the Chicago land area. It has gone up in price a bit since I was a kid but we have a membership since we live in the area and love the animals. The enclosures are always being improved though I would say a little... More

Brookfield Zoo never gets old! It's always a perfect place to visit for a family day with teenagers. Love looking at the dolphins and giraffes amongst all the rest of the beautiful animals.
