We were on a zoo field trip from our zoo. Looked like a great opportunity to leave the driving to someone else and check out the zoo. There was a $14 parking fee the day we were there. Plenty of parking. The zoo is very...More

Visited with relatives from out of town, although family has visited numerous times over the past several years. Always enjoy the Brookfield Zoo and all of the different exhibits that they have available. Depending on time of year, they also tend to do various seasonal...More

We've been here quite a bit and there are two things that really annoy me here. One is somewhat fixable the other not so much. Fixable - seating for the food court. We made the mistake of eating at the food court and literally every...More

We were very surprised how large this zoo really is. The animals were very active and was awesome to see the lion roaring. Took us about 4hrs to see everything. There is a good amount indoors as well so is nice for a cold day.

We have been here several times. It's huge. If you have little kids, you probably will not be able to see everything. Sometimes they offer free passes in the winter months, and in public libraries as well. We always tired out the kids when we...More

Yes you can. There are picnic tables around the zoo you can use. Also there are reasonably priced restaurants.

Yes you can bring food & there are plenty of places to eat it. You can bring a blanket with you and have a nice picnic but there is also plenty of benches near the food areas.
