A short walk uphill from the town square tahes you to the castle and to the tower. The information boards are bilingual, Polish and English and very informative for those not well versed in Polish History. Well worth a visit.
The castle at Janowiec is part of the museums complex of the better known Kazimierz Dolny which is over the Wisła river. (A road train and ferry apparently link the two but I could find nothing in English to advise the timetable or cost).
Our experience in janowiec calstle was very interesting.... Unfortunatly the castle is 3/4 in ruin but whith a museum and a beautiful view on the sourronundings and countryside.
