It took a drive from Donegal town but once you get there it's a beach like no other. Surrounded by Cliffs it's a beautiful view. THE WATER is Gorgeous and cold. Will be back.

We visited this beach on our Christmas break just a short spin from Killybegs this beach is absolutely stunning we had it to ourselves for most of the durations which made the experience more treasurable. Bring a camera and winter woolies and enjoy.

Don't miss this beautiful spot along Malin Beg. Be prepared for the wind that whips at you as you walk down the flight of stairs to the beach. The view (and the wind) will take your breath away. So glad we came - thanks to the bee keeper in his shop in Donegal Town who recommended.

Following the Wild Atlantic Way decided to stop here. Absolutely stunning, it was very windy standing in the car park looking down on the beach but once we walked down all the steps the wind wasn't even noticeable. We had the dogs with us and we were the only ones on the beach. There were lots of sheep on the... More

The owner of the pub where we had lunch after visiting Slieve League suggested we take a detour home via Silver Strand - it was a great suggestion! The beach is absolutely beautiful, whether you just view it from above or go down onto it. There are a lot of steps to get down to the beach, so if you... More

My family and I climbed Sliabh League and came the long route and ended up at the Silver Strand Beach. It was a welcome sight after our climb and great for our weary bones. Now I know why old folks love their daily swim in the : "forty foot". The good thing was that there were two chemical toilets at... More

We stayed here for 2 nights. What a delightful place! The owners are great; breakfast is terrific and served whenever you need it. It is literally at the end of the road. And the road is not for the faint of heart but it is worth it! The beach is right in front- an easy little walk and it is... More
