County Donegal remains amazing in its munificence. The peripheral area surrounding Malin Beg makes for a perfect drive needing no requirements beyond itself and inclusive of a jewel- silver strand at that. For those so inclined, a staircase walk down envelopes one in a perfectly...More

This review is actually for Silver Strand Beach and the surrounding area. If you’re on R263, before you get to Silver Strand Beach, there’s a turn off to the right onto L5115. This will take you to a beautiful inlet and the Malin Beg Mortello...More

If you're the sort who loves to follow a scenic road just to see where it will lead, you will find this gorgeous beach at the end of the road if you keep going past Glencolmcille. Off the coast along the way, you'll see a...More

The "Silver Strand" is well worth the effort of the numerous steps down (and back up again!). A beautiful, clean beach with amazing views and an added bonus of an awesome sunset.

We didn't actually go to the beach, just looked at it from above. We were just stopping by on a drive around the north coast and ended up in Malin Beg. This is a place that not many tourists make it to, so you can...More

If you are in the Glencolumkill area of Donegal this is a must see. Absolutely beautiful weather permitting of course. Cliffs both sides with steps down to a lovely clean sandy beach.
