This is my favorite mountain. This is where I learned to board over 20 years ago and I don't feel like I need to go anywhere else. So many trails and pit stops! Easy drive up, easy parking lot. Fun had by all every time!

We did this for the drive up, super gorgeous scenery. Once we were up there the views took our breath away. I would like to come back in winter and see it then in all its glory.

Wouldn't want to be up here in deep I'm winter ... however that's only because I can't see anymore :(. Amazing how they build on steep slopes. They'd have to pay me triple pay to do roofing on these places. Definitely worth the drive for the view!!!!

The views from the top are amazing. You can see the city of Sandpoint and Lake Pend d'Orielle and the surrounding area. The lodging looks beautiful, but we have never stayed there. We have gone to Fall Fest over Labor Day weekend. Fabulous music and 60+ beers to taste. We have heard it is a great ski resort in the... More

Schweitzer Mt is a great place to go with amazing views of Lake Pend Oreille. They have a great Fall fest in September with over 80 micro brews and ciders, live music all day, food vendors, zip lining, rock climbing, and chairlift rides. The winter is great for skiing and snowboarding with great light deep powder. They constantly have something... More

This place was so pretty! We are from the south and have not seen landscape like this before. We rode to the top in the ski lift and it was amazing. You could Montana and Washington at the top. The fall festival was going on as well so a bit crowded but had nice stalls, etc because of it. Will... More

Went up for a hike with our grandkids in late July and had a blast. The hiking trails were easily maneuvered by our little ones. We saw a bear on the trail, and he saw us...he quickly ran down the side of the mountain off the trail. That was a highlight for those that saw him. We also found the... More

We had always wanted to visit ski resort in summer. Were on trip to area and drove over from Sandpoint as could see in the distance. Rode up the lift and hiked down. Lovely view! well organized and helpful staff. Looks like great place to ski as well.
