Could have stayed there for hours! So much to see and read. Took my two and five-year-old. Five-year-old loved the airplanes. Probably better for older children but wanted to give my five-year-old something to think about. Lots of "Do not touch" though. Highly recommend on a rainy day!

There was no way I could see and read the many displays at the Warhawk. The gentleman who was a volunteer docent there was so friendly and knowledgeable about the displays and about the era. Of course the planes and equipment are fascinating but I really love all the soldier histories and photos, telling the personal experiences. Need to go... More

In Idaho’s third most populated city resides an impressive time capsule of Americana. Whereas, most Air Museums have a large amount of Aircraft displayed, Nampa Idaho’s “Warhawk Air Museum” (WAM), make’s do with a smaller number of Aircraft. The WAM has a great collection of military history. There are airplanes, vehicles, uniforms, news articles, personal uniform and stories and much more. The majority of the exhibits are from WWII thru Vietnam. If you are interested in history WAM is worth a visit. You can spend days here and not see everything.

If you have a Veteran in your family this is a wonderful Museum. My dad was in WWII and I could not believe when he saw a lot of the Museums history he told me many things that he remembered that was directly related to the Museum information. A special moment before he passed away. Make sure you watch the... More
