Very clean with everything you would need to have a great day at the beach. Sea was warm and calm in the morning but noticeably a little rougher during the afternoon. Peoples/shells at the beginning of the waters edge

We arrived at the beach and we're happy to rent the sun chairs and umbrellas for the day. We chose the business 'blue moon' because it was the first we saw. €27 for 2 chairs and a giant umbrella for the day, we were happy...More

Weekends are when many of the inhabitants of Venice head to Lido Beach, makes for great for 'people watching'. Beach has free access but be prepared to pay for all facilities used. Sand is cleaned daily, tides take care of the water.

It's not the nicest beach, the sand is dark. It gets very busy and the water is not particularly clean however it is actually not too bad way to escape Venice and enjoy a day in the beach.

Came to lie on the beach. Very crowded in August but still nice. Lots of men trying to sell big blanket things though which gets annoying.

This is a good beach like the ones in California. It has good shops and restaurants and many, many people. Still, it is better than the crowds in Venice.

We found Lido Beach to be crowded and a bit dirty in July and August. The constant stream of persistent illegal street vendors also made us uncomfortable. We had been to this beach in early June and thought it was much more pleasant. We enjoy...More

This beach is nice for a walk and sports. If you are visiting Venice, I would recommend this beach to enjoy a sunny or warm day.

Accessing the beach is free for areas not fenced in. You will have to bring an umbrella unless you can get a space in the shadow.

I did not use the waterbus since we were always so many people and according to our information it came to about the same amount as using the waterbus. My info was that the price was approx. 7 Euro per ride.
