Upon our arrival every single street leading up to the hotel was blocked due to the aftermath of the biennale film fetival. Even though they knew perfectly well( we reserved our parking spot in advance) we we're coming in by car the hotel staff neglected...More

Absolutely the best place to stay when visiting Venice. Beautiful beach! Pool. Lovely room, wonderful service and the boat rides to and from the hotel!

We recently spent four days with family at Hotel Excelsior. The hotel is beautiful, luxurious and reasonably priced (for Venice). The staff were extremely courteous and helpful (even fun-loving).

The place is historical, very large with a beautiful beach. Unfortunately they closed my favorite one which used to be l'Hotel Des Bains . That was more sofisticated, this instead is only delabrè and a bit too expensive, in spite it needs renovation. But still...More

The hotels water taxi is free of charge to hotel guests, and runs roughly each hour. I would suggest you contact the hotel if you are not staying with them, just visiting, they are very accommodating so I am sure will help... More
