This lake is not only beautiful but much bigger than it might appear at first. Good of swimming and all kinds of water sports. There's a golf course right along the banks where you can drive a golf ball out to a floating island. Take...More

A startling beautiful lake. Given the increase in population during the summer, a favored vacation spot. We are fortunate to live with a view of the lake.

We stayed at Springhill Marriott which had a walking path to downtown. It's a long walk but beautiful views. Strolled around town visiting shops. Ate at a few restaurants. Lovely little town. Would definitely recommend.

Great Lake with very interesting history. They have dinner cruises and siteseeing tours which are very good and informative. There are a lot of beautiful homes on the shoreline that are only visible on the water. The cruises are well worth the time.

We live about 20 minutes away from the lake. It has a lot to offer anyone one that has it on their list to stop at. Great parks, food, drink and hotels nearby. Check it out!

Enjoyed our stay in Coeur d'Alene. There are multiple things to do to keep you busy. Free parking can be at a premium if you look for it. If not, parking meters are available.

I drove around the lake visiting the small towns of Harrison and st Marie’s. Beautiful scenery and try and take Coeur D’Alene drive for the best scenic route. Put the sat nav away and get lost!!!!

Take a bicycle ride from Chatcolet to Harrison along the beautifully paved bike trail along the lake. Enjoy the picturesque greenery and marshes full of bird life and an occasional moose. Stop at a Harrison for a bite to eat or a cup of coffee...More
