Perfect summer getaway

The trails, the cruises, the food, the park. This entire place is just wonderful. We cannot wait to come back again in the summer!

Enjoyed a great visit to Coeur d Alene while visiting family and had a wonderful walk along the lake. Parked on the roadway behind the college and walked to the resort and back. Will defiantly go back when the snow is gone and enjoy time along the lake with a picnic and lawn chair.

Feels like a European village overlooking the lake, looks like it too! Amazing views, beautiful kind people, great food, shops, what else can you ask for? I never want to leave!

We went in the winter so all of the water sports were obviously closed down for the season but the lake is beautiful.

Coeur d Alene is the place to be in the summertime, and you can enjoy endless miles of clean, deep water. Whether you boat, canoe, kayak, water ski, fish, or just float around in your floatie, Coeur d Alene Lake is where the action is. There are plenty of places to rent boats of all types, jet skis, or whatever... More

Take a drive along the east shore from I-90 to Harrison, continuing to St maries. Most of the time you'll follow the lakeshore seeing some of the nicest vistas in the state. Pull-off as available to "smell" the fresh mountain air. This day excursion will help you escape the typical tourist hot spots, letting you experience the area as we... More

National Geographic claims Lake Coeur d'alene is one of the most beautiful in the world and I wouldn't argue that point. It has a beach right in the heart of the city and another near North Idho College. It's great for swimming and boating but if you don't have a boat, head out on one of the cruises. It's well... This is wonderful summer or winter- The hotel at the top of the lake has beautiful rooms and the town is fun to shop in.. The lake is famous for the ability to golf an" island" in the middle- but the whole area gets wild pretty quickly and there is a lot of unspoiled hikes and ski areas. In the... More
