We went to explore more parts of Boise. Found the park and went walking on some of their trails. Looks like it would be fun during the season to go on the river. This time of year not a lot of people but still fun...More

Community center is beautiful for a large group of people, up to 200. Spring, summer, and fall, the facility is well lit by the natural sunlight from outside. The inside is air conditioned. Nice for teas, weddings, and more.

The best summer activity in Boise! Rent a raft or kayak from the County's concessionaire at Barber Park (or bring your own) and spend an afternoon floating the Boise River. Inexpensive shuttle service is available back from the take out point at Ann Morrison Park,...More

Right on the green belt, on the river for pedestrians and bicyclists; a beautiful park; great for river rafting access; picnicking; large play areas for kids

I wouldn't take children that young. Not until they at least know how to swim. The current in the river can be really strong, and even though they have life jackets on, they can get stuck on objects that are under the water... More
