I just was in the park last weekend. There is so much to offer. It houses the zoo, the rose garden an cool outside band shell and the Black History Museum. They also have paddle boats which are super fun and great greenbelt paths right by the river. Great place to lay on a blanket and take a nap or... More

Great park. Wonderful scenery. Lots of ducks and squirrels running around. I would give it 5 stars, but there's just too much duck poop all over the pavement. But I can't imagine how beautiful it looks in the spring and summer times.

While Art In The Park (the annual juried art and handicrafts show) may be the reason most people visit Julia Davis Park, it's also a great place the rest of the year (and much less crowded). Whether one strolls along the paths alongside the river, or circles around Zoo Boise to see the giraffes peering over their enclosure, it's a... More

I love the annual Art in the Park during September of each year. Beautiful big shade trees covering the vendors on lawn. Even on a hot day, and most are that time of year, it's comfortable for moving from one vendor to another, and sitting for some lunch.

Beautiful Park for walking, biking, picnicking, playing with children, or just strolling around in the Rose Garden. The Idaho Historic Museum, the Art Museum, & the Boise Zoo are all right here in walking distance of each other. Can get very crowded in summer & when there are public events taking place. Check the online calendar at the Boise Chamber... More

Beautiful park, downtown, with tons of local cultural attractions. The Historical Museum is currently undergoing renovations, but everything else is open and great. Close to BSU and the heart of the Greenbelt. You can spend a whole day here and not see everything.

What a beautiful park that has a little bit of everything. There is a nice pond that rents out paddle boats. There are tennis courts, bocce and horseshoe courts. Boiling and walking paths all over with the river going through.
