The park was a beautiful hard wood forest. The leaves had changed colors and were beautiful. Make sure you visit Liberty Bell Pool and Dowdell’s Knob. There were many hiking trails.

We stayed close by and did a little hiking in the park. They have cabins with lake or Mountain View’s that we will try next visit. Beautiful vistas without driving further north. We ran into quite a few other Floridians looking for fall color.
