Visited first week of 2018 with three other families. Received a ticket for parking on beach with golf cart. While I can understand a fine of some sort since there were signs posted, I really think a fine of $926 for a cart sitting there...More

At low tide the sandbar between Tybee Island and Little Tybee Island is prominent. You can walk or canoe between the islands. Very wide and clean beach once you cross the sand dunes.

This is a very nice beach. Plenty of parking. A nice pier with restrooms, food and drinks. Can watch or even join in fishing from the pier. The beach is clean and water is clear
