During our visit to Tybee island we took time to drive to the lighthouse and museum and learn some history about the island while enjoying some fantastic views from atop the 85 ft lighthouse. If you are not afraid of heights I highly recommend it.

It was closed last time I was here, and a storm had it temporarily closed today. Finally, though, we made it in. Loved the climb, the view, and the grounds. Even the gift shop had items out of the ordinary. Great visit.
