Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

My wife & I stopped by the overlook today. Beautiful fall day made for great pictures. The shop has lots of quality merchandise and the shop’s ceiling are uniquely covered. We browsed for about 30 minutes, bought a couple of items and then went out on the deck to take pictures. There is an admission fee of $2.50 per adult for porch access. Free admission if you make a purchase. Friendly staff. Highly recommend.

there is a sign written "Tallulah point", but I didn't see any spectacular view, just see the trees, can't see any water, river nor waterfalls, no need to go there, nothing to see, so if you really want to see, take beautiful, you need to go into the Tallulah Gorge state park

I took my kids to take a look and I was a bit sad that there wasn't anything much at all. The overlook is beautiful and its a good view but all the buildings are out of use. We were able to take a few shots and head on. Great for photos but not entertainment or much else.

If you don’t want to pay to enter the park and just want a preview of what the gorge is like, visit the scenic overlook. It offers a nice view here from across the park. I like to pop in for a quick look from the main road when visiting the area. I am never disappointed.
Note: There used to be a quaint gift shop here that moved a couple months ago. Be sure to check them out downtown if you have time.

This icon has been here for well over 30 years. Great views of the gorge and falls for free and a fun gift shop with super friendly staff worth patronizing even just for a snack!

It was a little diversion from our main route but very worthwhile. Beautiful view of Tallulah Gorge. Definitely a place to stop. Located on Tallulah Gorge Scenic Loop. March is a bit off season here but beauty of the area remains.
The overlook includes outdoor area with vista and the 1912 friendly building with unconventional gift shop, covered overlook porch - a great unusual place to explore for the whole family.
The parking is free.

It was an amazing experience, I was climbing those rocks like a little kid, so excited to go from point A to B, leaving my friends behind, hahaha but just scouting for better route.

The store overlooking the falls is a nice adventure into the past. The view of the falls is very good and is peaceful. Its just nice to get away to a place like this away from the hustle of the big city.
