History is something that cannot be re-written to remove what has happened in the past. The images are Confederate soldiers, they tell a story, and it is one that should never be forgotten nor repeated. Okay, enough of that, the park is beautiful, we only had a few hours to walk around and take the gondola to the top of... More

This was a great adventure for all ages. Everyone had a great time exploring and riding the sky tram. 13$ round trip or included in your wrist band. Or hike up for free about 1.5 miles.

I went to see Stone Mountain as I enjoy visiting interesting historical places. The carving looked great, but being on the north side the photo I tool was mostly shadow. I did like the train trip around the park though.

Great trip to top of mountain. Wonderful to see the stone carvings so closely! It was also fun to walk around on the top of the mountain and see the skyline of Atlanta in the far distance.

Very nice time. Not very crowded and park is nice. Went with 2 young children, laser show was crowded because a large area was fenced off but still very nice.

The carving was quite a feat and it's showcased well by the Memorial Hall. They've included examples demonstrating the actual size of portions of the carving while the carving is still in view through the back of the hall. They've added a new movie since I was last there about the war in Georgia, but I was more interested in... More

Very well worth a look at this amazing carving. You need to take the skyride to get the best view and when we visited it was a beautiful sunny day.

We have visited here often and it is always very pretty and full of history. They have a great little "town" geared towards children, a sky lift to get to the top, lots of history etc... We stayed one evening for the laser light show. It was o.k. but nothing spectacular. It was crowded - not enough seating and hot.... More
