The Christ Church, Frederica has docents available Tuesday through Sunday from 2pm to 5pm. The churchyard is open to the public from sunrise to sunset Tuesday through Sunday. The church and the grounds are closed to the public on Monday's for maintenance. Bus tours and group tours are available, please call or email the office to set up a group tour. From time to time, the church and churchyard are closed to accommodate funerals and weddings.

Great history around this area. Landscape is breathtaking. First time on east coast golden islands. Cemetery is a must.

Great place to take the Kids at night for ghost stories. Live Oaks fantastic graveyard. I have not attended service there but what a historic landmark.

There's an interesting story behind the creation of this beautiful little chapel. It's a bit tragic with the pastor who founded the church marrying his first cousin despite his family's wishes. Tragedy followed.

The many, many novels of Eugenia Price can help you plan your trip here. As you walk through the cemetery of Christ Church and Frederica Church, you see the grave sites of many of the people from those novels. It is a must see.

I love to ride over to the grounds at Christ Church and just roam around the old cemetery and churchyard. With the Spanish moss and the old trees, it is a wonderful picturesque opportunity. Sometime there will be deer darting out. And it is free....More
