This pier was bustling with people of all ages and a variety of activities. There was fishing, crabbing, skateboarding, walking, watching, talking and laughing all going on. The pier provided a nice location to watch the sun set. The pelicans provided some cute picture opportunities. It was great place to experience the overall vibe of the island.

It was nice to stroll along the pier - you get a nice look at the houses along the coast and it was enjoyable just to meander and sit on the benches to enjoy the view.

This Pier is a favorite place to go in the evening before dark. We walked out on the Pier prior to dusk to enjoy the sunset. There were many others doing the same thing. Before long people were chatting with other people they have never met! During this time, the "Resident Pelican" flew in and stood on the railing for... More

This is right in the center of town and it is a nice spot for people watching and seeing the sunset. A great spot for a photo op as well. Lots of activity and just about everyone that visits ends up walking out here eventually so if you like to people watch this is a great spot.

There's not a lot at the Pier itself but the surrounding area has a nice pool, mini-golf, playground and picnic area for families. Mini-golf and pool require an admission fee.

This is a nice stop when biking the island. Nice views and surrounded by shops and places to eat. Also many benches to relax on and enjoy the view.

The Pier at St. Simons Village is a well-know haunt for people to go walk down. You will often see people fishing and there is a pelican that poses for photos (if you are lucky to see him/her ! ).....Well, it is not posing, but close-enough. Last time we went we chatted with 2 ladies who had easels set up... More

Locals and visitors can fish off the pier without paying and great to walk the pier to catch a great view of the area.

This pier is next to the strip of beach shops which are fun to browse. Lots of funny items to look over and then walk the pier. Lots of birds. It is hard to find parking even though this is low season so allow time to hunt for a spot.

The Pier is special for several reasons. I lived here a few years long ago and had good times in the Village. There have been upgraded to the pier area and have added nice benches. The sunsets are picture perfect!
