This is a great Georgia State Park that is quite different from most others. Cloudland features a deep canyon with many hiking trails; gorgeous waterfalls and a plethora of options for staying in the park, RV site, campsite, cabins, yurts, etc. The waterfall hikes involve a ton of steps but the views are amazing.

Beautiful views on this hiking trail. Well marked, steps down to very high waterfall...photo opps everywhere. I was struck by how expansive the canyon is. Traveled nearly two hours here and it was worth it.

The hiking was great. Families with children were braving the trails with no issues. Plenty of four legged friends were on the trails as well (with leashes). The stairs down to the bottom of the falls consist of many steps. If you have knee issues....you will be worn out trying to get to the bottom. The ground in places going... More

We stayed in their premier cabin for a week. The cabin was great and clean, we were impressed. This is a great park for hiking. Multiple trails with interesting views and features. This is a wonderful gem in North Georgia and only 30 min outside of Chattanooga.

My husband and I came to visit the park as a side trip when we were in Chattanooga. The park is easy to find and you pay your fee/pick up a map in the visitors office. We did the West Rim Trail Hike. When you first begin the hike, there is a main overlook of the canyon and falls right... More

We came to the park during a stay in Nashville. I wasn't sure what to expect as I had never been hiking before but I was not disappointed! This was such a beautiful park. From waterfalls, to mountain views, there was a lot to see. I was pretty nervous about the hike because as mentioned previously, I had no experience... More

We camped here for a few nights and stayed on the East Rim. There's zero privacy at this campground but the beauty of the park made up for this! Absolute beauty everywhere you look. We hiked almost all the trails and looked at all the waterfalls. You must be in pretty good shape to hike some of the trails with... More

In my opinion, worst campsite in Georgia. The campgrounds are basically big parking lots with fire pits and tables. It's like some sort of Woodstock-esqe gathering of people. But boy you'd better believe they're proud of it. You can get a 3-star hotel room for the price of a walk-in campsite! Bathrooms were disgusting. Smelled of human waste, floors were... More

This is without a doubt the most beautiful park I've ever been to. There are gorgeous views of mountain landscapes, waterfalls, the river, the gulch, small caves, etc. The yurts are fantastic, the campgrounds are perfect, and the staff was incredibly helpful. The views are jaw-dropping if you hike the gulch or the rim loop. It is a BEAUTIFUL place,... More

I love this park but one thing that stands out like a sore thumb are the homes you pass once in the park. You check in at the center and everything looks like a state park should look like but as you head towards the east rim you pass some houses that look like a tornado went through them, trash...
