What was once a very nice, small nature park with well maintained trails, a nice stream and a covered pavilion has somehow fallen into a state of disrepair. The trails have deteriorated to the point that some places are dangerous. The nature placards have faded...More

My husband and I walked, stopped and took pictures and just enjoyed being outside on a nice boardwal and at times just a dirt path.

There is a small playground and picnic area as well as bathrooms. They do have a screened in pavilion that you can rent for parties. The hike is an easy 1-2 miles down to the creek. We enjoy this park so much that we visit...More

My eight-year-old daughter and I visited to enjoy a beautiful day outside. We walked on the trails, biked on the trails, and played in the river. Trails are well marked and everything was very clean. There were also places to put in canoes and kayaks....More

I came here hoping to find a good canoe/kayak/SUP launch point for South Chickamauga Creek, which runs alongside the park. Unfortunately as I made my way down through the narrow trails that do not accommodate vehicles, I realized that you have to walk almost all...More

Extremely peaceful nice calming atmosphere. Nice trails to walk and listen to the animals. Great place for birthday parties and family reunions.

The park is easy to find and many people like to picnic there and swim and fish in the creek. They have a screened in bldg with a kitchen for gatherings. The walking trails are easy to follow. The scenery is welcoming.

My husband and I found this great little park one warm April day in 2016. It's a clean, small, but nicely stocked park. By stocked I mean there are picnic tables, swings, a building to rent for groups, restrooms, and ample parking. There are also...More

Aside from a few buildings and a playground near the parking area, this is an undeveloped parcel of Northern Georgia real estate criss-crossed by footpaths all of which seem to be steep--especially when you are coming up them. My grandson and I stopped here on...More

Our group of about 75 people had a meal together and the kiddos had places to play and the trails are really cool to walk, especially during the cooler months.
