Impossible to describe in detail because it is so extensive, but basically tells the story of the Eighth Army Air Forces during World War Two, and is home to one of the few B-17 Flying Fortress bombers in existence. Beautiful and meticulous exhibits both indoors...More

My husband visited here while spending a long weekend in Savannah. I was only a 20 minute drive from the historic district. We really enjoyed reading all the history and participating in the movies and the flight experience!

They have multiple real airplanes, which are very interesting. They have many memorials to the people who served there. A very realistic experience.

Really enjoyed going through this museum. There's plenty of things to check out both inside and outside. The story of the Mighty Eighth is very interesting. While there, grab a delicious chopped steak sandwich at Western Sizzlin. You'll be glad you did.
