I had not been here in 40 years, but remembered "Fairyland". Amazing artistry and really neat creativity from the minds of the couple who started this. A great walking trail for all. Lotta steps and a couple squeezes but worth it!! The price was $19.95 unless you buy a group ticket. Worth it.

We planned a family trip to Rock City. What we did not know is it would totally exceed everything we thought we would see. It was Christmas time and they had decorated the entire place with lights and holiday cheer. We had gone during the day and spent about 3 hours walking around looking at all the interesting views and... More

Interesting, fun and quirky. Almost a must to go on a clear day to get the most out of the views. Very dog friendly place. In the middle of February there were still quite a few people there so I would never go in the warmer months, the crowds would take much of the enjoyment out of it for me.

Back in the days barns through the area were painted the motto See Rock City! on their roofs. There are less such barns now, there are still a few, but the Rock City is better than ever! Peaceful gardens, incredible lookouts, fantasy lands with gnomes keep their vigils throughout. At Rock City imagination become reality.

I had only enough time to see either Rock City or Ruby Falls. Based on reviews, I chose Rock City and was not disappointed. The views were breathtaking, so much beautiful scenery and so picturesque. It's worth the trip and the admission fee for sure. Plus I think the kids will like the little gnomes they added for fun. If... More

If you think Rock City is one of those tourist traps that when you get there just has a bunch of rocks, you're wrong. I used to think that until I finally went there with my wife on our anniversary. My son set up the visit as a package deal with a trip on the Incline Railway and Ruby Falls.... More

I really enjoyed several things about Rock City. The plant and exhibitions are really unique and some I have never seen in my life and I really enjoy being in the garden and visiting stately homes gardens. It was great at the top to see the view of the seven states and also to sit the the rocking chairs having... More
