When I was a child my parents rented cottages here in the State Park. We had the best of times and memories. Today it is still preferred by many to camp and rent cabins. We love this area on Clark's Hill Lake. (Lake Thurmond)

One of our favorite parks for RV camping, boating and fishing in Georgia. Comfort stations are well maintained. Staff is excellent, very helpful and friendly. They have had to close their grey water dumps due to misuse by campers even though they are still marked...More

Very nice park. We have camped here many times. My son & daughter-in-law even got married there. They were married on the beach and had the reception in a large building on the hill above. The bath houses are very nice & clean.

The park is nice, small, but nice. Only one trail, but has two playgrounds, volleyball, basketball, and fishing to entertain the kiddos. Beware the wind on the lake though!!! It was terribly windy while we were there which mean no campfire and cooking was quite...More

Tie them off to a tree and they aren't going anywhere. No one's ever messed with ours while at the campground. Even when we've not been on waterfront site and still left boat on shore.

Tie them off to a tree and they aren't going anywhere. We've never had a problem with ours at campground. Even when we are not on a waterfront site it's been fine.
