I suggest you take the van tour first and then go in the museum. The tour will give you background, locations and history of what Margaret Mitchell wrote about in her book. Our driver was friendly, and with 14 years of experience, knowledgeable. Lots of movie memorabilia and trivia questions answered in the museum. It is well done and of... More

I am a huge fan of Gone With The Wind, but I had no idea how much memorabilia was made honoring the movie. This is a self guided tour that won't take too much time, but it was interesting and worth the nominal entry fee.

For such a small location, it had a huge amount of interesting collector's items and artifacts from the movie and civil war . Nicely displayed.

I picked up a brochure in my hotel and drove here spur of the moment. It was great! I took the belles and whistles tour. The canned narration is a bit hokey, but the drive is knowledgeable and friendly. It was interesting hearing how the places of interest and events in Jonesboro became a part of Margaret Mitchell's story. The... More

The staff were exceptionally friendly. The museum although small packed allot of information to read and see in person. There was allot of trivia and facts about the movie, the actors, and the civil war and northern advancement on Jonesboro and the local region. Very nicely done.

Very interesting if you are a "Gone With the Wind" book or movie fan. It also houses many photos and historical artifacts related to the Civil War. They have dresses worn in the movie on display as well.
