Given the millions pumped into the remodeling of the Club and grounds, this museum is still standing waiting for that shot in the arm, displays are 1950's and 60's type. Needs a major redo to make it more in line with other similar places around the country. Use more technology and paint the conduit too! make it a show place... More

Despite some of the negative reviews on this, we were very glad we opted to do this before we started aimlessly wandering around the historical district. After going thru the museum where we got a good background on the area, from it's first inhabitants right thru to the establishment of the club and history of that era, we then opted... More

Really, the museum doesn't deserve 3-stars, maybe 2-1/2 at best.. It needs lots of work. Many of the exhibits are identified and explained with sheets of paper where the writing has bleached-out. The interior of the building needs more lighting - it's dreary and, as another T/A reviewer noted - "rundown". On the plus side, there is a wealth of... More

Interesting history of the island and the "club" members. Free. Badly needs some upgrading as many of the information posters were hard to read with sections worn off. Building is interesting and a photo op. Gift store small but great stuff.

The area is beautiful. Find a nice place to stay and be a tourist. Explore and spend time walking the island and enjoy the outdoors.

Wow!! We took the passport to the century tour Wednesday morning and it was fantastic! Kathy was our guide She was so knowledgeable and made jokes and was not rigged or scripted. Loved seeing the cottages. I recommend for all ages!!

We enjoyed walking through this museum. It gave a lot of little facts we didn't know though we wish it had told more about how the powerful men in the club met to plan the financial future of our country.

Fairytale Experience. Our son got married at Faith Chapel and the reception was held at the Jekyll Island Club Federal Reserve Room and everything was top notch. We utilized the salon/spa prior to the wedding and they did an outstanding job for all of the ladies. We could not have asked for a more perfect location or experience.
