Always great to return to this special place on Jekyll. Did not stay in the hotel this trip but walked around the property, checking out the shops. Christmas decorations were up and it made everything very festive.

We walked around this area and enjoyed looking at the historical cottages. The old Jekyll Island Club was really something back in its day. We love seeing this kind of stuff. The hotel was very nice looking as well, both inside and out.

Had a ride on bikes through the historic district, it was fascinating with lots of notice boards tell us all about the past history of Jekyll Island. Well worth the visit.

I was worth the ticket price of $16 per adult on the tram tour of the historical area. We had access to areas that we wouldn't have been able to drive through. Also, our tour guide was able to explain all the history that we...More

This is a great place to visit. Taking a walk down Millionaires row and seeing the beautiful houses takes you back in time. Cute stores and nice benches to sit, relax and people watch.

Entering the historic district at Jekyll is like stepping back in time to the millionaires' club in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. I first stopped in the Jekyll Island Museum and viewed an excellent film giving background about wealthy families who spent their...More

Walking around and seeing sights, absolutely! They do have some shops, but I'm not sure about lunch. They have some snack shops, but no actual restaurant.
