Stayed at the Holiday Inn Express. It was a great experience. Very helpful staff. Delicious breakfast. Beautiful pool and hot tub inside and large outside patio also. We ate at two locally owned and operated restaurants, Daniell's and Ted's Restaurant. Shopped at the wonderful Christmas Store where it is always Christmas and at the Lakeview Village Market. They have wonderful, different things. I found a flying pig to add to my garden .A beautiful place and wonderful, friendly people.…

The massage therapist was Excellent in getting my body to release my back spasm by the time my hour was up! Sigh...😁 Then had the pleasure to check out the clothing, jewelry and accessories plus make up items. Which ended up finding a comfortable shirt to buy! I had a chance to ask about sources of other needs and how to get somewhere being new to community and the owner was wonderful in providing them! I look forward to returning there as often as I can! Suggest getting reservations for services and walk in to check the storefront!…

While recently visiting Hiawassee to see friends, hubby went range shooting with his buddies, and I decided to treat myself to a spa treatment. We were staying right down the road at the Ridges Resort, and they recommended this Spa. The Spa is located in what appears to be a home that was converted into the Spa. Cute and quaint. Upon entering they also have clothing, toiletries, jewelry etc. the lady who checked me in was very nice. I had a massage and a facial. Both were very nice and the aesthetician and massage therapist did a great job. My only "ding" would be when I arrived they had me go into a restroom to change into my robe. I then had to walk through the "store front" to go to the therapy room. It was not really private. Otherwise, great experience.…

While on her Hiawassee birthday getaway, treated us to a couples full body massage at Body Sense, a downtown day spa minutes from scenic Bell Mountain. Proprietress Donna McAuliffe personally welcomed us with useful local news and then introduced us to our masseuses. Judging from the sounds of stress relief emanating from the adjacent table, I can assure you that the Mrs. found her encounter with Teresa as close to true teleportation as I did under the skilled hands of the talented Michelle. Trust me this is a literal out-of-body experience not to be missed by the tense traveler— in our case after horseback riding and prior to a wine tasting at a nearby vineyard. Thanks Body Sense for putting a whole new spin on mountain relaxation.…
