The trail is about a mile round trip and is paved the whole way. Coming in, it is a fairly constant incline. The observation decks at the falls are well maintained, and the falls are gorgeous just as everyone says.

There is an inclined path to the base of the falls that may be challenging for those not in good shape but there is a reward at the end of the path.

Nice walk, not too strenuous. Not very far to get to. Definitely worth the walk to the end. Great deck for getting a beautiful view.

If in Helen GA this is a hidden gem. Only a few minute drive the a 15-20 minute scenic hike to the falls. Note there is a small $3 fee per person.

The hike up is short, .04 miles each way, but fairly steep going up the paved path. There are benches & railings and from time to time the path does level out. Beautiful views as you walk up. The Falls themselves are amazing & well worth the effort. There’s a large platform & seated areas as well. The walk down is a little steep so wear good shoes with traction. Again there are rails on/off down. Great stop !!
