We spent a weekend here on the lifestyle package, we are searching for a third residence as a retirement option. We rented a lovely three bedroom cottage on the property, which is quite large, with 2500 homes and more on the way. The Ritz Carlton here is quite nice, and the lake is magnificent, it is worth taking a pontoon... More

My wife and I did the Lifestyle package as we are looking for a retirement home. Although Reynolds covers several thousand acres the whole area was immaculate and staff was very friendly and accomadating. Our sales agent Ron Kalpak showed us exactly what we were looking for and was very professional. In driving around the properties you get a real... More

This lake is HUGE! if you don't have a boat, a house or rental in the lake you can come and rent an apartment, a "Ritz hotel room" :) and come to the camping area. During the weekends is crowded but during the week is so peaceful and quiet. Lovely place to spent a few days of vacation.

This is our absolute favorite "not to far" resort hotel! It's Ritz all the way, but with a more "lodge' type, lower key vibe. In winter there is an ice skating rink, plenty of trails to walk and run or bike, beautiful, well kept, superior Ritz service. In summer there are all lake activities. I even jet skiied with my... My parents have a home in Reynolds and a boat stored at the Lake Club Marina. On Monday July 4th, I had the opportunity to have an unpleasant interaction with an employee who stated that he worked at the Lake Club Marina for over 10-years with gold teeth. My mother was addressing a concern she had about her and my... More

Our golf group did not seem to know the secret to navigating the way around Reynolds. You have to go through central reservations to book anything, and it seems that we are not especially welcome in several venues as non-members or non-guests at the Ritz. We read how highly rated it is as a golf destination, and the courses are... More

I stayed on the Lake at the Ritz-Carlton and had an enjoyable meal at Gabby's. This is a pristine lake with water levels regulated with 18 inches. This results in a clean shoreline, minimal development visible. I'm told it is the best fishing lake in Georgia. I thought it was just beautiful and will look to take my wife back... More

My in laws live here so we come about twice a year. The lake is beautiful. It is surrounded by tall Georgia pines, seven different immaculate golf courses and enormous houses where well off retirees reside. The lake - allegedly the one flooded in Bert Reynold's Deliverance is narrow, dark green and deep. In the summer months it is filled... More

We have been vacationing at Lake Oconee for many years and one of the attractions of spending Christmas and NYE at the Lake was the fireworks at Reynolds. We use to stay here every year so that we could really enjoy the area and the NYE fireworks; well they cancelled them this year as they don't want non guests attending.... More
