Wonderful park with trails and a walking bridge. Flags and memorials to honor all that have served, still serving and those MIA/POW's. Thanks to the town for this area.

A decent park with green space, ball field and an ok parking lot. It was clean and there were plenty of trails and good views.

Great walking trails, memorial bricks and river view. You can picnic and just sit and meditate in this area

Our little town has done a great job honoring our past. Some gave all. All gave some. This little, beautiful bridge will honor so many for a very long time. Way to go Gilmer County.

This memorial for veterans so proudly displays the appreciation for their service. We live here and have attended ceremonies and are in awe of the folks that make, maintain and preserve our fallen heroes. Quite a tribute for a small town.

Yes there is a bridge across the river, but the nicest thing about this is the overall memorial to veterans. Very unique, and surprising in a rather small town.

The Veteran’s Memorial Bridge itself is not the attraction. The attraction is the complete memorial of which the bridge is part. It is a pedestrian bridge which crosses the Coosawattee River connecting additional parking and soccer fields to a larger city park. However, it is...More
