You see them about fifty yards off the road; the symbols are mysterious as you do not really what they say or what they mean.

You definitely have to go out of your way to get here. However, it's a neat place if you happen to drive in this direction. Very mysterious and odd. We were there when the weather was nice.

We stopped here since we were near for another reason. It's not really a "destination" sort of place, since you can see/experience it fully in less than a half hour. It is free, and it is very interesting. It's refreshing to see the "be good"...More

I had been telling myself for years that I needed to take a driving trip there and it was well worth it. Be prepared to hunt for it though. My GPS and phone lost all connection about 3 miles out and I had to stop...More

This looks to us like it may a set of instructions after global apocalyptic event, whatever form that will take. The fact that it is in almost every commonly used language and a few ancient ones is pretty amazing. It makes you think it may...More

Since you can see tons of information about, and photos of, this odd little attraction online easily, physically going to visit it isn't strictly necessary. While seeing it in person doesn't impact any new knowledge to a visitor, it was an impressive edifice and we...More

Interesting and unique. We drove down on Memorial Weekend and it was easy to find. Interesting view of the 'guides' by the creator that still remains unknown and a mystery as to why they were built. Not everyone agrees to what the guidelines say but...More

Very limited walking. The site is pretty level and parking is right next to the Guidestones. It takes maybe 10 minutes to walk around the monuments and plaques. Very manageable.
