Limited hours and small building kept me from visiting for the 35 years I've lived in Douglas and driven by this museum more than 1,000 times. What an amazing surprise!! Extremely informative with lots of information, artifacts, details about personnel who trained here in Douglas, etc. will be going back to soak up more of the history of this WW... More

This was a very interesting museum, with lots more than I ever imagined! It took us about an hour and a half to go through the buildings with all their memorabilia and to walk the grounds. My 10 year old son LOVED it! We saw one of the airplanes that actually flew in Normandy on D-Day, saw lots of pictures... More

Took the tour while attending Bikes/Blues/BBQ rally at the Douglas airport. While the size is small, the displays are interesting, and worth the time spent. Really not a lot here, but hope our small donation helps preserve this piece of WWII history.

This is all that's left to see of the WWII training facility. A few bits of memorabilia from the era. They are obviously existing on a shoestring, supported by donations. We supported.

This is a great little museum related to a WWII Flight Training program located in Douglas, Georgia. The site is the actual location of the flight training school which operated during WWII. The buildings are original with several being restored and utilized. The museum has well thought out visually appealing displays. The grounds are as close as possible to original.... More
