My niece treated me to a day at the North Georgia Zoo, with a special Otter Experience! It was an extremely satisfying day and the Otters stole my heart. Everyone was so friendly and did everything they possibly could to make the visit memorable!

I had my 3 young grandchildren with me. Went there on a Saturday. Dirty, overcrowded, expensive. I just bought the petting zoo and pony ride tickets. I saw families buying packages up to $150.00! At a "petting zoo"? Then, my youngest, who is just 4, was too scared to ride the pony. I asked for a refund. She said "no".... More

I believe this place is for all ages. We had a wonderful time seeing and interacting with all the animals. With all that we did, we had the same tour guide, Meagan. She was very knowledgeable and friendly.

Had a great time with the family. Large petting zoo with goats, sheep, pigs, and other farm animals. Watch out for the spitting lamas. The guided walking tour of the larger animals was nice. Friendly staff.

Our grandson just went to his 5th zoo camp. He loves learning about all the animals and why God created them. He loves meeting them. He likes the counselors & the whole experience. He just attended the overnight camp and what an experience he says that was. He loved it. I wish more children from our community would come when... More

More like an petting farm with an added expensive rushed tour of your choice. At least the money goes toward the animals and stressed workers. But personally not a favorite of mine. It's not the caring that is the problem it's the priorities and values. It's clear they love their animals but sometimes the best intentions can lead to bad... More

We visited the North Georgia Zoo today using a Groupon to get in. Overall it is a cute little place. The guided tour took about an hour and walked through the back of the Zoo. This is the only way to view the various "Zoo" creatures. They've got wolves, fox, kangaroo and birds on display. The tour winds down to... More

My eleven-month-old grandson and I visited the petting zoo today. The girls went shopping, and I won the coin-toss. I read some reviews before visiting. Ignore the opinions of the naysayers. They charged me eight bucks, and my grandson got in free. I feel like I robbed someone. We had at least a thousand dollars worth of fun! The animals... More

My husband and I did the wildlife package with the camel feeding adventure. The petting zoo area was fascinating because there were so many different types of sheep, goats, miniature or baby alpaca or llama?? and the wierdest-looking chickens! I was interested in photographing as many animals and birds as possible and the petting zoo area was perfect for that,... More
