Excellent short hike!

Takes no time at all to get up the falls. Provided there's been enough rain, you will be greatly rewarded with the double waterfall. You can press on further, too, if you are... read more

The short hike up to the falls was nice. It is close to the parking area. The REAL fun is hiking up the Benton MacKaye Trail right next to the falls. My phone app said we went up 35 floors. We came to a clearing with a fire pit area and big logs, and that is where we stopped to... More

This place is fine but the falls are just ok. There are many better places in North Georgia for falls. Check out Desoto, Raven Cliffs, upper Chattahoochi, Amicalola, or Anna Ruby.

Hiked this one on Christmas Day with the family - super easy to reach, comes up on google maps app which will take you right to parking area - only last 1/4 mi is on unpaved road, the rest paved - ~30 min from downtown Blue Ridge. Unfortunately, 20+ other folks had the same idea so it was not a... More

I bet this fall is so pretty in non-draught conditions. We are very short on rainfall in the South this year so the water wasn't plentiful, but it was still very pretty. It was a nice way to work of the apple fritter we got at Mercier's.

Went on a weekday so it wasn't very crowded. Nice tail not to steep. Going through a drought s it was flowing but not what I expected. We plan on going back when the drought is over.

The road to Falls Branch Falls gets very narrow and winds around and around, ending up with a gravel road for a short time. There are NO signs visible from the road where the trailhead is. The sign is probably 20 yards off the road in the path into the woods where it is dark. Going toward the falls on... More

The walk to the falls was pretty quick in comparison to nearby hikes. My wife and I went during drought conditions so the waterfall was a bit low, though still scenic. The forest around the falls were changing colors at the time and it made for a beautiful hike and some great photo opportunities. It did take some time to... More

This waterfall was easy to find and a fairly easy hike uphill. We had to ditch our stroller about halfway up due to the path being uneven, but it was a mildly strenuous uphill hike alongside a nice creek. There is not a lot of water coming from the falls but it was pretty nonetheless. We had 3 six year... More

Had hoped for something a bit more challenging, but it was a pretty easy 15 minute uphill walk from the gravel parking lot to the falls. I think recent drought must be affecting it because there wasn't much water in the falls. There is a nice platform to view the falls... which would have been nice for a photo op... More
