I stumbled upon the museum when I first moved here to Canton... when I walked in I thought for sure it would be your usual visitors center, but was very pleased to find a small museum dedicated to sharing a little history on the natives...More

It is great to visit when they have special exhibits. My Girl Scout Troop enjoyed visiting. It is a very small museum, so I would not go unless they had another exhibit going on.

The display is quite impressive. They have such a variety of artwork on display. Not to mention that Cherokee County is so full of history that tends to get overlooked.

Enjoyed our visit at the Canton Co History Museum. It's not a big place but it packs a lot of great history of the past. Well worth a visit with a stop afterwards at any of the local downtown restuarants.

At time of visit, facility torn apart to repair water leaks and extensive damage in the museum part of this very old building. Features are very specific, local, and unless you have an interest in Cherokee County not a very interesting.
