We enjoyed hiking on the trails to the falls and spending some time around the water. The falls were almost dry due to the drought, but it was still beautiful and worth the trip.

There are a few falls and some great hiking paths. This is definitely an outdoor event. It is even better if you can manage to snag a campsite at Desoto campground. There are no reservations at the campground, so it is first come. The showers...More

This hike was the limit length-wise for our 4-year old daughter but the falls are beautiful! We enjoyed the view of the upper falls.

Very pretty falls. 1/4 (lower) or 3/4 (upper) mile trail from the campground parking area. Great for kids & for wading in the river.

The falls were pretty. The scenery on the hike was nice. Hikes aren't too bad. Make sure you pay when you go in. None of us saw the sign and we ended up with a pricey ticket.

Enjoyed our holiday me to the upper Falls. Walk through a wooded area provided shade and cover for rain. Path follows a creek. Last 1/4 mile is steeper, with tree roots to navigate. Our group ranged in age from 10 to late 70's in age...More

There are 2 falls in the same area. It takes about an hour to see both. Definitely worth getting out to see! Nearby there is another fall, which is better, Helton Creek Falls. That one doesn't take much time at all to see and is...More
