Hello and Namaste ! This November I have guided my clients to Kanchenjunga Basecamp trek for more than 3 weeks. The trek is absolutely beautiful and also adventurous. The great views of Kanchenjunga, Jannuhimal(Kumbhakarna), Kabru mountains, Rathok and many peaks are breathtaking . The diverse landscapes and massive forests give you an amazing experience in the high route Himalaya. The... More

Very beautiful trek, especially Pangpema (views of Kanchenjunga from the North). Pleasantly quieter than the most touristy treks. Basic lodges, not much else than dal bhat to eat, quite pleasant, only room for a limited number of people. 9000 to 10000 meters total uphill for the circuit. Now the negative side. Restricted area, so you're obliged to take a guide... More

Being organizer, very difficult to travel/trek myself in trekking & climbing season. But I committed to trek with my best friends [South African family & friends] from Cape Town, SA. We started our trek on 12,Dec 2014 & returned to Kathmandu on 02 Jan 2015. It was great adventure with blue sky & 3days snowfall in Khambachen. We had beautiful... More

I trekked the Kanchenjunga Conservation Area with Trek Nepal International in Nov/Dec 2013. Despite Kathmandu being 'shut down' for 2 days because of the election and the fact that Kanchenjunga is an incredibly remote and isolated area, we spent 3 amazing weeks in some of the most unspoilt land imaginable. This was all due to the incredible organisation and local... More

I spent just under a month trekking in eastern Nepal from mid-March through mid-April 2013 with Kamzang Tours who are affiliated with Project Himalaya. You can find them under either name on the web. We flew to Tumlingtar, began walking in Chainpur, and reached the Mt. Kanchenjunga Northern Base Camp (Pang Pema) and the high, ethnically Tibetan village of Olungchan... More

Last year, nov 2011, my boy-friend and I went to Nepal for a three week trekking in Kanchenjunga-region. The tour was organized by OSHO VISION, a trekking organization in Thamel, Kathmandu, Nepal (exact address see below) chosen by coincidence by my boy-friend the year before in nov 2010 as he had gone to Nepal for a three week trekking in... Mt Kanchenjunga at the time of sunrise from tiger Hill at Darjeeling, India was absolutely Unbelievable. This is a third Highest peak in the world and just after sunrise ,it turns in to golden colour. The transition is just spectacular and lasts for about half an hour. Must visit place for Nature lovers.
