It is a small gothic style historic church built and rebuilt due to hurricane back in the 1800’s. Required no admission fees to enter, but donations were appreciated. Photos were allowed to be taken inside. Some nice stained glass windows, not much else to see...More

This church displays a National Trust Barbados plaque outside it. Well worth a visit. We were on a cruise ships tour of the island. As doors were open, birds could also go in and there were quite a few in. The pulpit was made of...More

This is one of Barbados's best examples of gothic architecture and gives a widescreen vista of the Atlantic Coast from the churchyard. Inside the old church was very nicely built with lovely stained glass windows and a wooden altar. The graveyard contained many different, ornate...More

St. Johns is a beautiful old church, dating back to 1645 and the resting place of many leading Bajan's. Its location is just stunning, with fabulous views out to sea.

Beautiful old church, built in the 1600s. Head round the back to explore the grave yard & tombs. The back of the graveyard also offers a great view of the ocean.

This is definitely one of my top two visitor attractions in Barbados along with the nearby Hunte's Gardens. It is quite a challenge to find it if you are driving but it is well worth it. It is unique in two ways for Barbados attractions...More

The interior of the church is worth seeing - and the exterior for the grave sites and the most awesome view - definitely a great place to see and appreciate the history of the church.

The church itself is somewhat ordinary. The graveyard in the back is more interesting with the gravestones and tombs. Lots of history here. The views are amazing

This is an old church dating back to the 1600's. The views over the ocean are stunning. The visit is short. The setting under the old trees are beautiful.

There isn't a cost associated with visiting the church. You can freely walk around the grounds and even enter the church. But it would be nice to leave a donation which would go towards the upkeep of the church :)
