Don't miss the boat tour of the lakes!

The boat tour is well worthwhile, relaxing and interesting. My favorite is the narrow canals connecting each lake. One of the best things to do when visiting Winter Park.

This is a fabulous trip around the chain of lakes. Takes about an hour and the captains offer a humorous and interesting dialogue. Just show up with cash a few minutes before the hour. Fun!

I have done this tour on two different occasions and have plans to go yet again! The boat tour guides seem to enjoy their work and make a pleasant little boat trip educational and fun. You hear a bit about the history of Winter Park and the homes around the lakes, see and learn about birds and plants, too. Interesting... More

The Winter Park Scenic Boat Tour probably hasn't changed much in decades. And that's a good thing! It's casual, unspoiled, relaxing and the tour guides entertain with gems of local lore. The pristine Winter Park chain of lakes still reek of old Florida's natural beauty. Rollins College and many generations of homes are on display for all to see. The canals... More

Winter Park is a beautiful city surrounded by lakes connected by canals. Downtown WP is home of Rollins College and the Morse Museum. The Morse Museum "houses the world's most comprehensive collection of works by Louis Comfort Tiffany". Its beautiful and a must see. Wander the Avenue along Central Park and then take boat tour!

Excellent selection of specialty shops from Restoration Hardware to Synergy. Many, many restaurants with outside and inside seating. Pleasant tree lined streets with plenty of benches for the men to sit on while the ladies shop. And there is an Amtrak station, so you can see some passenger trains too.

I always tell my out-of-town guests that if they do one activity in Winter Park that they take the boat tour. The launching dock is at the eastern terminus of Morse Blvd. and leaves hourly. The cruise goes through the connecting canals, and the skipper always has an entertaining monologue to accompany the rich visual experience. You may want to... More

a Must Do when visiting the Orlando area. Great guides/captains who make Winter Park come alive! Boats are open so mid day tours tend to get a bit warm. I take all my out of town friends here! Learn something new each time!

Walk just 2 blocks from the great shopping and great restaurants on Park Avenue and take an hour or so out on the lake in old Winter Park. The canals between Lakes carry you behind Rollins College some of the nicest old summer homes in the area and then past the backyards of some of the wealthiest residents in the... More

Where can you get a lovely sunny boat ride and learn the history of Winter Park? A wonderful way to spend an hour cruising the chain of lakes.
