So I've been to Legoland CA before and being a FL resident, thought we'd give the FL Resort a try. The park was nice but there were a couple of things that didn't impress us much. First, the parking was horrible. Very hard to figure out the exact row where you parked, no painted lot sections or row numbers on the ground like most other parks have. The other thing was it took forever to get through the parking booths. It took over a half hour and it moved ever so slow. Granted it was a Sunday and I expect weekends are busier but there needs to be improvement here. The park seemed clean which was nice and the Legoland app was helpful to see wait times for various attractions and rides. One nice thing the park did was to offer courtesy cups to guests to get water at the beverage refill stations around the park. That helped keep us cool on a very hot day and didn't cost anything. That was much appreciated.
Unfortunately, we started finding out that many LL workers, mostly those in the shops and at the food counters were not very friendly. Three employees were behind the counter at the coffee shop and no one was available to check people out for several minutes. And once they finally took notice, they weren't that friendly. No greeting, no thank you, no smile. Terrible service. Same for the Big Shop. The guy ringing me up had no clue what he was doing and even charged me for an item I didn't purchase. No greeting, no thank you - just handed me the bag. Who hires these people?? Do they check to see if their IQ is at least a 3 before hiring them?? Do they get any customer service training or just show up and start pushing buttons??
Lastly, I have a gripe with the Pepper & Roni Pizza Stop. Pizza was ok but the checkout was horrible! It took one of the workers several minutes to line up the pizzas on the scanner just the right way so they could be sensed by the register. Then it wouldn't see one of the pizzas and the order had to be removed from the scanner and be placed back on it again. Ridiculous! Overall, the park is nice for smaller kids. My personal favorite thing was the Masters of Flight ride. That was the best part of our experience!! I must say, many of the shop and food workers need training in customer service, how to smile and make guests feel welcome. We didn't feel welcome at all. There are too many other parks in Florida that do offer great service and make the customer feel welcome. Sadly, this isn't one of them, at least in our opinion based on our experience.

I recommend this park for children 2-4. I took my 4 year old son and he loved it! He’s not a big roller coaster fan and pretty much every ride he felt comfortable. They have many activity centers that kept him busy as well. Some rides had a rather long wait but that’s expected.

The entrance to get it was hectic and crazy and was the worst part! If they can make that better then everything would be perfect! There were not long wait time for anything plenty to do for everyone it was a very enjoyable day! We bought the refillable bottle and it was FREE refills the rest of they day! Also free water cups at some stations was a plus! Would definitely go back!

Brilliant time! We are a family of 4 with 2 boys (8 & 2) We did a 3-day park pass with LegoLand, the Waterpark and Peppa Pig park. We stayed at the Pirate Hotel which was also fun and amazing for us all. LegoLand had just enough for my 2 year old as well as plenty for my 8 year old. We pretty much walked onto to most rides. The only busier day was Saturday, but even then wait times weren't terrible. Everything was super cute! The shows were great, and the Meet n Greets were often. The rides were fun! We cannot wait to go back!

Just a great place to take young kids. Many interactive games and Lego characters, a film, a chance to make and race your own car, live water show. Restaurants, fun resides for a variety of children’s ages. Less crowded and cheaper than Disney

So much fun to be had, the wait times for a Saturday were so low and there were rides fun for all ages our group ranged in ages from 3 to 40 and there was something for everyone!

We enjoyed our time at Legoland and Peppa Pig Theme park. It was nice to walk on to whatever you felt like riding next and the small water park on site was a great bonus. We used the Freestyle machines often for water which was nice. It was my 6 yo’s favourite theme park and I would have gladly spent another day there to check out the attractions we missed. There was a nice lady in 'Rebuild Your World' that really improve my kids' enjoyment of that attraction.

Is there any documentation required to obtain a Hero Pass? My 8 y/o would benefit from having an alternative place to wait for a ride rather than in line for an extended period of time. We are looking into the Hero Pass and if he meets the requirements. Has anyone obtained the Hero Pass once inside the park? What is the process and what was your experience?
