We really enjoyed our stop at the sanctuary. The staff were very friendly and stopped what they were doing to give us a personal tour. The animals seem well kept, and there is also a dog/cat shelter there as well with some adorable animals! Definitely...More

Thanks for visiting! We do recommend fully enclosed shoes for visitors and require them for staff and volunteers but as you know on vacation sandals or flip-flops are the most popular style. Most of our Sanctuary donkeys have come in because they were getting into...More

We were blessed to visit during our recent visit to Antigua. As animal lovers, we were taken with all of the animals. Charlie, the donkey, begged to be brushed, and wouldn't leave my side. I spent a lot of time loving him. We chose to...More

As you travel on the back roads, be sure to visit the Donkey Sanctuary! These sweet creatures crave the attention and you can brush them for added contact. Look for Stevie, a little, blind donkey that truly enjoys the attention from visitors. Each donkey has...More
